CSSS Position Statements

One of the goals of the Council of State Science Supervisors organization is to provide leadership in advancing excellence in science education through state and national initiatives and policies. One of the ways this is done is through the development of position statements. These statements represent the organization's official stance on key issues important to teaching and learning science. A position statement has been created for:

• Climate Change (November 30, 2021): Some additional resources about Climate Change Education found here.
• Equity and Access (March 14, 2018)
• Evolution (March 28, 2012) - Some additional resources about teaching evolution: NCSE, HHMI BioInteractive, National Academies.
