Our mission is to sustain and nurture a dynamic learning community that empowers its members to be effective and articulate advocates for quality science education at the local, state and national levels.
Goals: Goal 1: Provide leadership in advancing excellence in science education through state and national initiatives and policies. Goal 2: Provide members a forum for substantive dialogue which leads to professional growth in science education leadership. Goal 3: Provide support mechanisms that facilitate systemic improvement of science education. Goal 4: Provide resources that explore the attributes of effective science curriculum, instructional strategies, and assessment practices. Goal 5: Establish and maintain viable partnerships that support the goals and mission of CSSS. |
