Session 1- June 3, 2020 @ 12pm PST - Engagement of our Indigenous Communities as Partners in Implementation: State Contexts

Presenters: Ellen Ebert (WA), Lauren Kaupp (HI), Bjorn Wolters (AK)

Why is it important to engage local indigenous communities in science education efforts supported by state offices of education?  In this session, we will orient to state work around three themes, relationships; laws and policies; and strengths and challenges.  Participants will have resources and time to explore their own state contexts and to share and connect with their colleagues.

Zoom link and password will be shared through listserv to maintain privacy.
